Alan Kitching – A Life In Letterpress

This week after class, I decided to go and visit The Lighthouse. It’s been on for a while but it was finally time to go and see the Alan Kitching: A Life In Letterpress Exhibition and it did not disappoint!

There’s something really magical about type when it isn’t created digitally. Not that there’s anything wrong with the digital world but letterpress has a magical, tactile, labour of love quality and I spent an hour and a half immersed in Alan’s work.
