Character Design – Adventure Time

Adventure Time has got to be my favourite cartoon at the moment. Great, witty characters and delightful and brilliantly designed, it’s well worth checking out.

I read an article a while ago in Computer Arts with Andy Ristaino about the ins and outs of character design. It was a great, informative piece. I believe you can still get your paws on a copy of the issue here but there’s a small taster of the article on Creative Bloq you can read.

It’s really hard to pick a single fave character so I have rounded it down to a top four. Clockwise from top left – Lumpy Space Princess, BMO, Jake and Ice King.
