Addicted To Your Phone Animation

I am coming to the end of my second year studying Graphic Design and this year, I took a class in 2D Animation. I have always been interested in animation – 2D in particular (I took 3D animation last year and nearly had a meltdown – hats off to Pixar!) and was eager to try and get to grips with After Effects.

I spoke about this before in my last entry which can be found here. I made a few changes since then but anyway, without further ado, my masterpiece:

In response to the brief, I kept my short under 30 seconds and tried to make sure it had a clear message. I am a total phone junkie at times and am guilty of not enjoying the environment around me due to my nose being stuck in my phone so I thought I would try and show something similar within the short.

Having taken the class, I have a whole new appreciation for the work animators do and I am keen to keep using After Effects to try and create more videos.
