The brief was to create a set of posters promoting an exhibit of garden birds to be held at The Natural History Museum. The posters were to be part of the same range so therefore were required to be consistent in size, format, layout, wording and illustration style.

Having researched popular garden birds within the UK, I decided to deconstruct and simplify the Blue Tit and Treecreeper. I aimed to make the illustrations attractive to a wide audience, with a friendly feel reflecting the non-threatening nature of garden birds.
